Firewood has been the most common type of cooking fuel since the ancient days. This fuel has been considered over other types of cooking fuel because it’s fast and best during the cold seasons. In Africa, this is the most readily available fuel. The living standards of some people here can hardly afford other available cooking fuels in the market.However, firewood has its advantages and disadvantages. African governments should ensure constant and cheap supply of other types of cooking fuels
